| Details: Kaplan University is looking for an exceptional Business Development Director to work in our exceptional and fast growing Strategic Alliance Organization. The ideal candidate will support relationships with the federal, state, and local government. This is a senior level role that will be responsible for developing B2B/B2C relationships with key target government agencies that support the lead and student enrollment objectives for the assigned School. This is a cross-functional role within Kaplan University: working with Kaplan University's Academic, Marketing and Strategic Alliance Organization. The Director of Business Development will be required to have a deep understanding of the requirements of education for professionals within the assigned school and skills to assess the education needs of target organizations.Key Job Responsibilities The Director of Business Development will provide support for and act as a catalyst for the assigned School and will perform the following functions: Develop the plan to identify targeted organizations, develop relationships with the targeted organizations, and on-going management of these relationships Work Kaplan University's Marketing Organization to: - identify conferences or events to establish Kaplan as a marquee sponsor or presenter - develop social marketing programs for the assigned School. - develop email campaigns for the assigned School Identify associations and special interest groups that are focused on Professions related to government agencies. Work with Kaplan University's legal team to develop contracts for specific relationships Work with Kaplan University's Admissions team to track lead performance and identify training/quality issues Work with SAO's Diversity Team to Align Kaplan University to Key Industry Diversity Groups Support Kaplan University Marketing Research Team's initiatives on industry and related events, publications, and announcements Work with Kaplan University's Dean and Faculty within the assigned School to identify new programs Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations Accountable to a monthly goal based on relationships developed, relationships managed, leads generated, and new students Handle additional duties and/or responsibilities, as assigned Ability to evaluate plans and metrics/reporting with minimal supervision Ability to successfully interface with teams Have a dynamic personality, professional demeanor, assertive attitude and persuasive communication skills Have demonstrated success in building relationships with senior management within federal, state, and local government agencies.<br /* | ||||
