The ideal candidate will support relationships with the federal, state, and local government. This is a senior level role that will be responsible for developing B2B/B2C relationships with key target government agencies that support the lead and student enrollment objectives for the assigned School. This is a cross-functional role within Kaplan University: working with Kaplan University's Academic, Marketing and Strategic Alliance Organization. The Director of Business Development will be required to have a deep understanding of the requirements of education for professionals within the assigned school and skills to assess the education needs of target organizations.Key Job Responsibilities The Director of Business Development will provide support for and act as a catalyst for the assigned School and will perform the following functions: Develop the plan to identify targeted organizations, develop relationships with the targeted organizations, and on-going management of these relationships Work Kaplan University's Marketing Organization to: - identify conferences or events to establish Kaplan as a marquee sponsor or presenter - develop social marketing programs for the assigned School. - develop email campaigns for the assigned School Identify associations and special interest groups that are focused on Professions related to government agencies.
